SAOTA Architecture and Design set out the architectural concept for Nautilus, working with the varying ground levels and orienting the buildings to widen the views of the bay and the surrounding mountains.
The villas combine contemporary architectural lines with wide glazed areas, and the reception areas open onto the terrace and garden. Facing openings also let natural air in and improve the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The villas are not equal in plot size or in their position relative to the water. Names such as Grand, Prime, Prive and Signature appear within the project, along with locations in the first or second rows or around the lagoon.
